No, there are no carbs in pork rinds. If you are following a low carb diet they are an excellent choice for a snack. They are very filling. What is really good is to crush some up, add seasoning or try the BBQ ones and coat chicken with it and bake it! Yum! Just like shake and bake. If you are looking for more low carb options go to www.netrition.com There are tons of low carb foods, even pasta! Good luck.

Pork rinds are actually the skin of pigs, deep-fried. Thus, assuming that you have real pork rinds and not fake ones made out of ground grain products, there are no carbohydrates in pork rinds at all. Pork rinds are all protein, fat and salt. They have a total of 5 g of fat; 2 g of saturated fat; 15 mg of cholesterol; 230 mg of sodium and 8 g of protein and 80 calories in a 1/2 ounce serving. They are not the healthiest of snacks, but they are a low calorie snack and are better for you than crackers or potato chips. They are also making fat free pork rinds, so if you are concerned about fat intake, keep an eye out for those.
