Just tell your boss about your epilepsy. And tell him what can be done to help in case you have a seizure. It's best he knows so he can watch out for you, cause he may not know what to do in case of a seizure.Let him know if you can tell if one is coming on or not,if you jerk around a little bit before you have one, etc.I can't tell when my seizure's are coming on and so my boss and other employees kept a close eye on me and if I started acting strange or anything, they would stay with me or have my husband come get me.but your boss sure needs to know about your seizures. He may want to sign papers saying you would not sue if you get hurt at work while having a seizure.Besides it best to be honest and straight up.You may want to get something from your doctor saying you are able to work.Cause I know It's hard to get work when they find out you have epilepsy.Good luck.

Ordinarily I would say not to mention an illness, but your employer needs to know if there's any chance of a seizure at work. Their concern will be two things: how will epilepsy affect your work, and what do they need to know in case of an episode. You need to state it in terms of "here is why my episode doesn't interfere too much in my life or my work, or in the work environment." Epilepsy isn't well understood by people who don't have a friend or family member who's epileptic, so you may have to be quite specific.
For example, you can say, "In the last year, this was my epilepsy history and how I handled it." Only talk to them about things that might possibly relate to work matters.

Are you crazy. Get out of the closet. YOU have epilepsy. This is something that is unfortunate but you cant live your life hiding from it. It will sneak up and get you. Hopefully the people in your life will know what to do in case of an episode. Who do you think Is qualified to take proper care of you? Maybe someone that doesn't speak English? Come on live safe be safe.

I guess I would just let your boss know that you have epilepsy in case you ever have a seizure at work, they need to know what is going on and how to help. If they need anything from the doctors office then call them while your at work and maybe they can fax it over.

Once you have the job, inform your employer and coworkers about what to do if you do have a seizure. But I would not say anything until you have the job, in other words, don't mention it in the interview.
I may be thinking optimistic, but most people once they have the information are pretty understanding.
