with me when she was 16? i mean, after all those years of abuse,wouldn't you think she would want to avoid sexual intercouse with anyone,forever? She loves my father but still, i thought that rape and abuse victims are weird about the whole sex thing..?

i knew another girl, my neighbor in the military housing, with the same experiences, her dad went to jail, they come to de-value sex and themselves, with such low self-esteem they go 'looking for love' that girl at 16 gave away her baby, your mom kept you, how wonderful that is.

some figure if they've already been devirginized they figure y not do it again , some feel worthless and like it wa sthere fault , it affects everyone differently , one of my friedns was sexually abosed by her grand father and she did the same thing as ur mom so it affects people differently

Sweetie..you need to talk to your mom about that. No one knows that answer but her. You could see a therapist, but that person can only give you suggestions as to how you're mother was feeling.

Although i don't know your mother, maybe it wasn't difficult for her to disregard the past actions wtih her father.

there was a book that i read that said, sometimes sex victims just want to have normal sex just so they can feel normal again. its a really good book. you should read it sometime.
