I heard this can help in the civilian world, anyway to get one in the marines.

would force recon get me a secret security clearance. I plan on doing my best to join recon regardless of the answer.

It depends.

If you are in a position that requires a clearance then you will be investigated to see if you qualify.

However the only way to get a clearance is for the Marines to decide that they need you to have one.

You will only get a security clearance to the level of your position. Most Marine positions do not require a clearance of any kind above the Confidential level
