Busch cars are lighter and have a different wheelbase also.
You cannot convert a Busch car to Cup car or vice-versa primarily because of the difference in the wheelbase.
(105 inches) Busch (110 inches) Cup
You would have to start with a different frame.
It used to be, but don't know if still true, the Busch cars are not allowed to run a compression ratio as high as the Cup cars. This is probably still how different HP is derived from what is essentially the same small block.

Another difference is the wheel base of the cars. The Busch cars have a shorter wheel base then the cup cars. If I remember right, the difference is 5".

There are several differences, but none that most casual fans can notice just by looking at them. Horsepower is one of them, as is the difference in the wheel bases, and the rear spoiler is larger in Busch. Those are the biggest three!

The busch sequence is the "heat up " to the large leagues in a feeling. Baseball has its minor leagues. properly for Nascar it fairly is the busch sequence. Now don't get this incorrect there are some relatively solid drivers interior the busch and at the instant a large style of the Nextel drivers are working the sequence too. Nextel is seen the precise sequence for inventory autos.

There is no difference, there are fewer regulations in the Busch series, however with small editions any car could switch between the two.

As other people have pointed out, the Busch cars are lighter, have a different wheelbase, and a longer spoiler.............in general easier to handle.
