my sister recently broke up with her boyfriend, and they dated for 3 years. there were on the edge of getting married. she says he's greedy and he always acts like he doesn't have money all the time... which is a lie, because he works and get paid well. why are guy soooo greedy w/ money today???
even my ex-boyfriend was greedy. he bought 1 burger on our date!! LOL, its funny now...but seriously at the time I was offended by it cause it's like he was telling me I was fat and needed to lose weight.... he didnt even ask me what i wanted to eat...
someone please tell me, why are GUYS so GREEDY now? it seems like girls are buying guys more expensive things than the boyfriends, that are getting cheap gifts or gifts not as high-priced...for their girlfriends... why be a cheapscape?

Ok ok, not all guys are greedy. My boyfriend is buying me a Tiffany's bracelet some time soon, just for the hell of it. Just to show he cares.
I don't even want it! I mean of course I do, but I don't want him to think that buying this thing is gonna make me like him more lol. He does nice things for me all the time and buys me gifts. I don't complain, even though I don't like it sometimes because it feels to be that he's sorta trying to "buy" me. It won't work though.
He just bought me something from Victoria's Secret last night too off the internet, and he won't tell me what it is.
Anyway, my point is, they're not all greedy.

Now im gonna tell you something...you would never know...
GIFTS represent the idea of a RELATIONSHIP. Why? A relationship is created from the human instinct of protection. By giving a gift/buying food a man is telling you he wants to be your protector.
For example..you said your ex-boyfriend bought one burger on your date. Most likely he didnt want to have a relationship..he wanted sex. Heres an insider tip: Find a guy that 1. respects...your time and your property 2. is fun...for you...all the time. These are the guys that are great lovers, powerful, sexy, etc.
So your answer:
Guys are greedy because they really dont want a relationship. They are in a relationship because they dont have enough game to get laid on a regular basis without one.
If your looking for a relationship...quit trying to pick out the bad boys. If its the bad boys you like...then quit acting like you want a relationship. GOT IT?

It better they broke it off now. She would have had a unhappy marriage. All guys are not greedy. I can see a guy trying to save money for a better life. Sometimes if you talk thing over you can see if he is a saver or just a greedy person.

When you give, you are supposed to give without expecting anything in return. It is not a competition on who spends the most money cares the most.
This is different from dating someone that gives you things you don't like and/or appreciate.
When you date the right person, that person will learn your likes and dislikes and will impress you with even the smallest of details; one red rose, a bubble bath waiting for you when you get home, a drive to a scene you haven't seen before, trip to the beach, watch the sunset. This things cost nothing and are priceless.
Now, when you give - give from your heart, not from your wallet.

Men have become greedy cos they have heard all about the money hungry women out in the world. The ones that marry them, divorce them and take all their money.
They are just being careful.
Why didn't you buy your own burger and stand up for yourself and say I will order my own food thanks.
You can't have it both ways.
