Me?

More seriously, an agnostic is someone who does not have all the answers and is willing to keep an open mind towards whatever the answers might be. It's impossible to give a stricter definition because the beliefs of individual agnostics vary as much as their politics or favorite ice cream flavors.

It in no way should be taken as a term that implies lack of understanding, decision, or faith.

I am not a "typical" agnostic. I believe there is a "higher power" for lack of a better term. But I don't believe that any religion can fully grasp what it is, and I don't think it really matters. I don't believe that any god that may exist has any dealings with human beings. Maybe I'm not agnostic. But I've put more thought, logic, knowledge, and searching into being what I am than most Christians put into their single, closed-minded religion in a lifetime.

Many definitions of agnostic is that it is a "middle ground" for believer and non believer. This isn't necessarily true. Agnostic is a sub belief, so it is possible to be Agnostic-Theist or Agnostic-Atheist.

Because technically everyone is unknowning about how the universe came to be.

Someone who is going to wait and see, after they are dead, if there really is a supreme creator because it cannot be known while they are alive. That's the kind of agnostic I am.

The existence of God is unknowable.

I believe in God, yet I know there is no proof. I am agnostic deist.

Those of you who know me, know that I am very committed and not at all searching.

An Agnostic is a frigging fence straddler trying to play it safe. He is afraid to have a solid belief. He just believes maybe. What he don't seem to know is there is a fierce Pit Bull on either side of that fence just waiting for him to make the wrong move.
