I used to have beautiful blonde hair as a kid, but now that I'm in my 20s, my hair has turned brown, especially in the winter. How can I lighten my hair naturally and pull out some of those blonde highlights that appear in the summer? I have never dyed my hair and am deathly afraid of using the bottle. Any ideas?

The only way you will "naturally" lighten your hair is being out in the sun. However, your only other option to get immediate results is get some highlights done to your hair. You can get the Frost 'n Tip kit in the store and then get a regular box of a natural light beige blonde to go on top of it. So you leave the bleach from the frost'n tip for about 40-50 minutes. Then rinse it out of your hair, then with the cap still on apply the color on top of the bleached hair (it's okay to leave it wet). Leave on no more than 10 minutes and voila you have a beautiful sun kissed look to your hairstyle. This will look natural and going into summer it'll be easier to maintain and blend in with the summer highlights.

Everyone is announcing, "Sunlight, and Lemon Juice". My hair is darkish brown. I've attempted to lighten it commonly, and it consistently appears orange in a while. I'd say not anything will certainly lighten you hair however the solar. All it's going to do is deliver you faint highlights. It additionally is dependent upon how drastic a difference you are watching for. If you wish to head blonde, you'll be able to ought to get a authorities aid to start with. After that you'll be able to be in a position to hold the appear with over-the-counter merchandise.

Try using lemon juice, and then go out in the sun for an hour or two. Works great and will give you those sun-kissed, highlights you've always wanted, but too afraid to try!

You would have to spend a lot of time out in the sun to get blonde hair again. I used to be blonde as a child also, and I get a few foils put in my hair every few months. They really make a difference and look great and don't require a heap of upkeep.

I'd go with highlights because if you have true brown hair you can't use lemon juice or sun in because you'll come out orange.
