a friend told some devil worshipers not to come back to have there rituals and circle of fire at his lake, they did , they never left the property.his wife told me.
evil is to be fought if you KNOW them as being evil.not just THINK it.
My mother answered the phone and this man said may i speak to Linda, my new wife.mother held the phone away from her and said loudly .he is EVIL. don't have anything to do with him, he was a veterinarian and she took the job he offered, he later killed his adoptive parents, many people Know evil when they see it.as my mother could and as i can.yes evil should be fought but it depends on the situation i think, asking of the spirit of God for what to do .the spirit will answer ,all you need to do is learn how to listen

I'm not sure if the way you're thinking is totally wrong. God told us to put murderers and rapists to death and that these things would cease to happen among us. He was also right up in the front of some of the most violent wars in history. He fought a good battle many times. On the other hand, it is a sin to do murder, meaning to lie in wait or kill without a good cause. Are you wrong to think violence is the answer? It all depends on the way you see violence. If we are killing only in the ways and for the reasons that God taught us, no. If you think constantly about going out and becoming a vigilante and killing just anybody who hasn't done anything wrong or is no threat to you or you family, seek some help from both God and a human counselor. The more, the better. Peace, if possible!

I have struggled over this question myself as I study the life and ministry of Jesus. "Turn the other cheek" seems excellent from a personal view, but when it comes to state powers with the responsibility to protect its citizens, then I also think violence is a tool that can be used, without excuses. Many like to assert Jesus' pacifism as being anti-war, even to the cross, but Jesus didn't conquer violence through the cross, He conquered it through both the cross and resurrection. We tend to focus on one and ignore the other when the latter does take away from a one-sided argument.
