I live in Canada and the liquor your speaking of is Jagermeister and available in most liquor stores. It comes in a shorter square bottle and will run you about $30. I've had many bad hangovers because of this "fire water" and the shooters we made with them. I hope this helps you out.

Are you referring to Jägermeister? This liqueur is quite potent and tastes of licorice (I think, but others disagree). Its most common use in the US is mixed with Red Bull to create a "Jäger Bomb."
