most reputable peircers won't pierce a 14 yo even with parental permission. if a professional won't do it....do you really want to let your friend do it? and where did the jewelry come from? and the needle? those tools need to be sterilized, which can only be done with an autoclave which I very highly doubt your friend has. if you don't care about horrible facial scarring, painfull infections, and a good butt-whipping from the folks, then go for it. otherwise, wait.

Do not do that. That is very disrespectful of you if you go behind your parents back and have your friend pierced your lip. Why in God's name are you gonna let your friend do that anyway, does he or she knows exactly what they are doing. Don't be surprised if your parents don't feel sorry for you when your lip is swollen and you are in pain. You are 14yrs old and you are still a little bit too young for lip piercing right now. There is no respectable piercing salon that will Pierce a 14yrs old lip. You parents disagree for a reason, wait until you are much much older. It is not always good to do what your friends are doing especially at your age.Having your friend do it can probably cause reputable damage. Think of the consequences, and what your parents are gonna say, or do when they find out that you went behind their back and have it done anyway.

You know if you think about it you are not being very mature about this. Think about it long and hard, is this something I want. Wait untill you are about 18yrs or so then ask your self again if you still want it. Getting it done now, how are you gonna feel about it 2yrs or so after, are you still gonna like it are you stillgonna be wearing a lip ring. As I said before there are consequences to think about, namely a really nasty infection.

#1 rule don't go behind your parents back. They will probably make you take it out, so you'll have gone through that pain for nothing.
#2 Never ever let your friend pierce your lip. What she uses is probably not clean. Even if she does use alcohol.
#3 If you decide to do it at all PLEASE go to a tattoo place they have some really expensive equipment called auto-clave to clean their stuff. Plus it's the best equipment. Oh if and when you go ask for surgical steel. It heals faster and is easy to keep clean.
I just got my ears pierced I made sure they used surgical steel and a ring, because they both let where ever you get pierced heal faster.

Have you asked yourself why you want to do this, is it because of peer pressure, your boyfriend wants you to, or do you think you'll actually look better for it? I would listen to my parents and not do it, wait for another year. Then when you're 15 ask your parents again, if you still want it. You might even think about doing something to improve yourself (your grades, clean up your room without being told, do all your homework on time, etc.) just to show that you're willing to do give something to get something. But you might also want to consider how this is going to look in about 5-6 years, are you still going to be wearing a "lip ring" when you're ready to go for your first professional interview... how nice!!

what i did when my parents didnt want me to do something (i.e knitting or piercing something) I just went ahead and did it.

something i read about getting the lip pierced is that it can cause some destruction to your teeth. but the one thing that you may experience is an infection, so just think twice about getting something pierced. i got my ear on the top end pierced by a "professional" and it got infection the next day.

I would not want my kids to do something like that, especially at age 14. My answer would be no, if you want to do something goofy like that then wait till you're 21 or on your own. If they went and did it anyway it would break my heart that they did it knowing my feelings. Further more, I would probably take them to a doctor and have it undone. My kids never did anything like that though and now they are both in their late 30's.

Please don't do that. Unless your friend is a professional, you could get all types of gross infections from the piercing. If your parents won't let you do it, then don't do it! It is as simple as that. Plus, when they see it, they will make you take it out anyway. It isn't like you can hide it. IT IS ON YOUR FACE FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!

It seems to be a big unknown among the general population, but the lip rings/piercings can cause, or even greatly contribute to gingivitis, and injury to teeth. I would advise you not to. Get a tattoo or something instead.

I doubt your friend will let you live with them and feed you. Just get along with your parents the best you can until your 18, my cousin did that and first of all it almost got her kicked out of the house and, her lip got infected
