I take Wellbutrin & Effexor . Lexapro I'm not familiar with. Isn't a shame people like us have to pay for such $$ Rx. More stress is the last thing we need. I am Bipolar/Manic Depressive & Dr's have tried quite a cocktail in seeking the right Rx's. Hang in there. Oh the Wellbutrin does come in generic.

Unfortunately there is no generic Lexapro available. I take it with Welbutrin (which is available in generic form) and it works very well. I'm on 20 mg of Lexapro daily, which is the FDA recommend upper limit on dosage. You *could* go higher but your doctor will probably want to have you take another drug to supplement Lexarpo. I take 200 mg to 300 mg of Welbutrin daily and overall it has worked well for me.

there is no generic, it is too new of a drug. dont mix the two without talking to a doctor. you can get the generic paxil for $4 from walmart.
