Just a note on Desirees answer -in case people do not realize that she is joking-or misinformed. There is no Peter 13:12 anywhere in the Bible. 1 Peter has only 5 chapters and 2 Peter has only 3. Just wanted to make sure that we were all on the same page. Sorry I know that didn't answer your question. I don't know of any support for this lifestyle in the Bible.

sodomy chapter 4---but its not in the bible-Leviticus says its an abomination to God to lay man with man as with a woman. Romans 1 says it comes from unthankfulness and worshipping the created instead of the creator.

Ist Corinthians 6:9-13 and such WERE some of you but you have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus.

BUT IF YOU WANT TO BELIEVE SOMETHING BAD ENOUGH YOU WILL READ ADAM AND STEVE-

YET REMEMBER WHILE THE BIBLE CONDEMS SODOMY -JESUS ALSO LOVES THEM HEART AND SOUL AND DIED TO FORGIVE THIER sins and offer them a new life in salvation as many of my friends have done some x chosing homosexuality, drugs, alchohol drunks, of course we can say its all in the genes--I guess it that were true -life would be very sad and fatalistic-Jesus saves-is hope joy and peace for all mankind even those that think God made a mistake and their plumbing is mixed up

I don't think that there's anywhere in the Bible where it says that God gives his approval for homosexuality...I believe that there is a part in 1 Corinthians that says Christians shouldn't participate in homosuxual acts, though not quite sure... I guess that the verse I stand on in this issue is "If any of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her," something that Jesus said after finding an a woman who had slept with someone who wasn't her husband (though this is not directly homosexuality, it deals with sexual sin, which is what being gay is widely considered in the Christian community.) So, I guess what I'm saying is, though God may not approve of homosexuality, he does not look to us to condemn it.

((The source I cited has that verse said many different ways, from the different translations of the Bible.))

The word of God is very clear on homosexuals.
The very act is an abomination to God.
The sin has already been judged,so Christians have the right to say it is sin.
If you read the verse in Romans 1. It warns us if we approve of this sin,we become partakers with them.
All sin is sin,but this is an abomination.<><

Since the bible is in no way an accurate account of God or His words, the question is as asinine as the Christian religion.

I am going to check out the answers now so I can see some more of that good ole Christian love. You people always set a good example.

Where in the Bible does God give his approval for us to judge others?

Niether God nor Jesus are quoted directly in the bible discussing homosexuality. Only early Christians and Jews.

He does not. He also does not give approval for obesity, divorce or adultery. Why do some Christians pick out one particular sin as a rallying point? is it because it does not affect them directly? Think of the damage done to sincere searching souls who are struggling with this sin.

Nowhere! For if He did, God would have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah and rewrite parts of Leviticus and Romans Chapter 1!
