I posted earlier asking about over sleep and im wondering if this is the cause of this problem. It seems I am getting really pale and I find it hard to tan, how can i make my skin not so pale? I have native blood in me (1/4) and i used to be way darker when i was younger. I dont want to tan in the sun or a booth becuase of the risks that come with it, what can I do?

You should see a bit of sun, you need it for your body to produce vitamin D, apparently it also boosts your spirits!
As long as you are responsible about it, short periods exposed to sunlight will actually be good for you, and also prevent you from fading out.

You could also eat a bunch of carrots! But you'll be more orange and it will look like bad fake tan.

If this is a constant problem, i suggest you get yourself checked out to see if you have some kind of anemia. The most common type is iron-deficiency anemia, which is pretty common, esp in females due to menstruation, pregnancy...Try increasing your intake of green, leafy vegetables, but do seek medical attention, and no, DO NOT TAN! Tanning booths and UV radiation is a major cause of skin cancers such as melanomas. Do yourself a favor and add a decade or two to your life-span, and stay away from that stuff. If u feel really bad about being pale, maybe you might want to try one of those lotions or creams from jergens or nivea that gives u some color. I think it's called healty glow or something like that, Im not sure. But rule out any underlying medical causes that could be contributing for your paleness.
Hope this helps. Take care!

What is wrong with pale? Leave your skin alone. Don't worry about getting darker. You will have younger-looking beautiful skin when you are older and will thank yourself.
There is nothing wrong with pale!
You might want to wear some makeup on your face to make you look more vibrant that might make you feel better, a little bronzer and/or some blush.
If you are worried about your HEALTH then maybe try eating more veggies and maybe taking some vitamins. You could be anemic.

I think the value of tanned skin is over rated. I live in the SW and the evidence of skin cancer runs rampant.

I avoid the sun at all costs. I';ve seen what it has done to family members. Turned two lovely sisters into these ugle leather faced broads. One sister I swear, has "Wilson" imprinted on her forehead. Yes, it's THAT bad.

What about that liquide fake tan stuff?
