i just moved to westervill/columbus ohio little turle community im looking to fish the big walnut creek close to the hoover dam i was wandering what kind of fish are in big walnut creek and when its a good time to start fishing as well as the hoover any help would be great

FISHES OF INTEREST TO ANGLERS
Hoover Reservoir has populations of largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, white and black crappie, channel catfish, white bass, carp, buffalo sucker, and longnose gar. Saugeye fingerlings are stocked annually by the Division of Wildlife. Gizzard shad is the main forage species.

Fishing is an art that comes from experience and no experience. Your bound to break records or just catch any fish that makes your day.

Go to your local bait shops. Look in the yellow pages and hunt them down nearest to you.
Then go make a visit to the guys and sit down with them, drink some Coffee or something and chill out. When the fisher mans walk in the door they can tell you all you want to know just about;.\

watch out for the catfish early spring.crayfish is my bait of choice around the dam,have not worked the creek

im not sure but my grandma lives in that community and i live off of 161. cool to find someone from columbus on here
