How can you engage in racial profiling when pretty much the entire population is of the same race? Or are there claims that American troops are engaging in racial profiling of the under 1% of black or caucasion or asian people present?

The world profiles!!! You don't have to be troops or in Irag. It goes on everyday, everywhere, by everyone, and no one is exempt from it. Churches do it, schools do it, businesses do it, the government is the worst for doing it, your nieghbors do it, you do it, and I do it. It's part of our nature, and it's time we grew up and admitted it!! We have become so sensitive in this country, that we have taken common sense, fun, and reason out of our vocabulary. Replaced them with biggot, lawyer, and settlement. Lighten up people, there are bigger things to worry about!!!!

All Iraqi's are not the same race, some are Kurds, some are Arabs, some or Turkomen, and, undoubtedly, some are Persians. Also, religion is a big deal over there... some are Sunni and some are Shi'ite.

You don't say? A sun-tanned Arab with a beard, bad disposition, wild eyes, and a gun doesn't attract soldiers' attentions.

Now that's a thought....
