About one year ago, I met a really great guy, it was "friendship" at first sight for me. We hung out together everyday and had such a great complicity together. At the time, he knew I wasn't looking for anything more (i had just got out of a really bad relationship), and i guess it put some kind of strain on our friendship, because after about 6 months we drifted apart, without really ever talking about it.
We started talking again a while ago, and I realized what a wonderful guy he is and that i'm really attracted to him. I'm over my ex and ready for something new, but have no idea if he still feels the same way, i dont even know if he's seeing somebody or not.. What should I do ? I'm REALLY bad at flirting but if i don't do anything i'm sure i'll regret it a lot.

I would say that just keep talking to him like you did when you were good friends. If you have drifted apart, you need to rebuild that relationship. Get to know each other again. Through just casual conversation some of the hard questions that everybody is just dying to know the answer to but too afraid to ask will probably surface, and then you can at least find out if he's even single. Go from there. If you hit it off again, make the next move, see if he's looking for more than just friendship, or you may not have to, he might!

Since you had a good friendship in the beginning then it shouldn't be too hard for you to just ask him if he wants to hang out some time. If he's seeing someone then he'll probably say so then but if he wants to hang out then you can catch up on the last six months of noncommunication time. You don't have to always flirt to get your guy, some times the direct approach is best. If you aren't a flirter, be straight up with him and tell him that you're interested in seeing him, that you're over the bad breakup you had with another man and are ready to move on with your life. It also wouldn't hurt if you told him you think he's wonderful and that you knew you had to say something to him or you'd regret it for the rest of your life. I personally don't believe in playing games so just lay it all on the line and I'm sure he'll be thankful that you did. Good luck!

First find out if he's seeing someone and if hes not (this would be kinda embarassing if he is) just tell him how you feel and if he feels the same way then GREAT but if not then at least you know this and you can get over him
