When both sides stop letting their egos and hurts get in the way, blaming the other side for everything... etc. when they cultivate understanding, patience and compassion, altruism, etc.

When Lebanon (and most of the Lebanese people would agree with this) stands up and kicks Syria, Iran and Hezbollah out and take back their country.
The Lebanese (true Lebanese) people do not have a quarrel with Israel nor do Israelis have a quarrel with the Lebanese. It is the interlopers who have taken up residence in the south of Lebanon and in the Bekaa Valley that cause all the problems. Lebanon is a country under occupation....real occupation. But of course, we here in the west never hear about that.

Will Israel ever recognise the internationally sanctioned right of three and a half million Palestinians to return to their homes in Israel as full citizens with equal rights???

Never. Because none of the Arab world recognizes Israel due to religious and political reasons. And Israel doesn't recognize any of the Middle East at all.
