Or do you only care if it fits around the life-style you want to live?

Do ya'll ever consider, the way ya'll think things should be is vastly different from the way God wants them to be?

Do you think that God is gonna give you everything, with you giving Him absolutely nothing.God doesnt have any monotary cost;the only thing He ask for is the honest, true expression of your heart toward him.Is that a lot to ask for?

And do you take into consideration, that God doesnt fit in a box called human?Just like a parent might say "Dont talk to me like you talk to your friends",in the same way God cant be approached the same way we approach our fellow human/creation;cuase God is not human,He is not limited&He is not a creation. He is the Creator, the authority.

all your god has to do is come down here show off with a couple of miracles and your holy book would be considered science. until there is at the very least one little piece of evidence that shows his existence, i will not believe.

till then 1 + 1 = 2 (without god in the equation)

Hey Maurice-

the only time I think about god is when I'm on here.

Anyother time, I just continue with my normal day-to-day business... WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT GOD.

SO,
to answer your question

1. I don't want to hear your truth about god. I don't believe you.
2. Judging by the way your god wants things to be in the Bible, I would actually get up off my dead butt to stop that from happening.
3. I don't think there is a god, thus no.
4. Is what a lot to ask for? Devoting my life to something that has nothing backing it up other than a few books and some heresay? That really IS a lot to ask...
5. Hypothetically speaking, if there is a god, he is a deadbeat dad. Period. IF he created anything, it was for the purpose of watching itself fall apart. If this god existed, I would hate him.
6. No he isn't.

Let me clear all of this up for you-

No. I don't want to hear about it unless I'm logged onto Yahoo Answers- in which case I am in the mood to talk about it.

We already know the truth.
The truth is that anyone with the level of intelligence to be able to apply reason and logic will decide at an early age that the god thing is fabricated by early man.
God does not exist and is merely a figment of your imagination.
I suspect that you were brainwashed at an impressionable early age and have been so deeply implanted with this wish that you cannot shake it off, no matter how much REAL truth is staring you in the face.
It is surely time for all religious freaks to abandon this childish practice and accept reality into their lives. As it stands, all religious zealots only attract ridicule and pity.
You are being ridiculous and we all pity you.

Do stop typing 'ya'll'. It only reinforces our opinion of you. Redneck hillbilly bible-thumper. Clearly.

Since there is no God, and I know that the bible is an erroneous document, I know the truth. I live a better lifestyle than most Christians. God does not fit in a box called human because he is an idea of fiction whereas humans are real.

I was christian for years, I went to church and youth group, and did all that stuff. I prayed and sang songs, and asked for forgiveness. And then I started thinking. I thought for a long time, I went through a couple biology classes, read a book on our purpose, and how we're here for God, and then I did some more thinking. And by the end of all my thinking, I am now atheist.

And as for all your views on what we think about God...well here's your answer...we don't think he exists so we aren't worried about some higher power punishing us when we die. We don't know what happens when we die but we don't think there's a heaven and a hell, we don't think there is God and Satan, and we don't think what the bible says is true. It's not a question of what we think God will do to us, or how we choose to ignore what the bible says...We don't believe in any religions, at all, or what any bible says.

And yes it is a lot to ask us to put our whole hearts out to God. That's like me telling you to forget God and focus all your beliefs on evolution. You don't believe it, and I can't make you believe it. And guess what? I'm not going to make myself believe in something because then I'm just lieing to myself, and the people around me.

My lifestyle. What about my "lifestyle." I lead a very good life. I have never done drugs. Have had sex with only my husband. I help others. The only thing I don't do that your supposed god wants me to do is worship him.
He won't give me anything you say. That's fine, because I'm not asking. I'm doing fine on my own. That's right, I get up in the morning, decide for myself what I want, and I do it.
I don't believe in god, because by your standards I should be punished, but I'm not being punished, and I'm not getting anything taken away and not leading a bad life. So, where do I fit into your paradigm of what the hell you think an Atheist is?

What I hear always seems to be the same thing (not saying all Christians are like this, but it's what I witness most often); God is great, God is grand, God will forgive you for anything, but you're going to Hell. If God is really so wonderful and all-forgiving, then He/She/It/They will forgive us for thinking differently from Christianity; He/She/It/They would have made us with our own minds, and allowed us to choose our own paths. It's my belief that if there is a God, then He/She/It/They would allow us to be a good person, whether we are Christian, Atheist, Pagan, Jewish, etc. Being a good person is what it's about.

If you know everything there is to know about God, there is nothing you can learn about God.

I don't think you really want to know the truth either, or else you might have to change some of your ideas and you won't be able to feel smug in your complete understanding of everything anymore.

You are committing the sin of not only pride but hubris.

I care very much about the truth about God. Hence the fact that I am an agnostic. The question is: Do YOU care about the truth about God, or would you rather believe in the Bible because it makes life easier?

Do you really think we haven't had the opportunity to know the the 'truth' about God? This is the USA, nominal Christians outnumber atheists about 8 to 1. Do you really think that we just haven't heard the message in a way that will stir our hearts yet? Do you think that this sort of cut-and-paste crap is going to have ANY effect whatsoever on hearts or minds? Particularly minds?
