How do you make the perfect butter for your popcorn. Whenever I make popcorn, I always want more butter on it. I've tried just heating up and melting butter then pouring it on there, but then it makes it all soggy. And I really dont feel like going out to the store to buy 1 freakin bag of popcorn. Any homemade suggestions? Thanks So Much Luv Yas! ~cookiedough~

Take butter (make sure not to use margarine- margarine makes it soggy no matter what you do) and put it in a saucepan on the stove, and heat it over medium heat until it turns frothy (light and bubbly). Pour it over your popcorn right away- this will keep it from getting soggy. But be sure not to burn the butter! Good Luck.

I use that spray-on margarine stuff but it isn't exactly butter is it. You could try finding a spray bottle with a generous nozzle, butter is pretty thick. Make sure the melted butter isn't boiling hot before you put it in the sprayer and then lightly spray the popped popcorn as you toss the kernals that every one gets coated but not too much. You might want to ask at a kitchen store, I know they have spray bottles for oils, so maybe it isn't too far fetched for butter.

Try melting butter in a microwavable bowl in the microwave and using a the butter to dip your popcorn in, or once the butter is melted tilt the bowl slowly over the bowl of popcorn but don't pour all the butter in once spot.

you need to let your butter cool some before you pour it on the popcorn or it does get soggy and it also makes the popcorn lose the fluffy. after you pour your cooled butter on it make sure you shake your popcorn up or stir it to even out the extra butter

I heard you have to let the butter and popcorn cool for a few minutes and then toss it together.

Get you some of that popcorn salt/seasoning. It comes in butter flavor and it's fine so it clings to the kernals.
