It's hard to say. Use protection properly and you shouldn't have to worry. However, you should get tested every time you change partners/ every six months. Be smart about sex and you should be in the clear.

I do think it's dangerous. Even with protection disease can be spread and pregnancies still occur. Plus, there's a lot of emotional strain. Sex is meant to be part of a committed, marriage relationship. It's meant to further secure the bond between two people. Having a one night stand doesn't exactly do that, it just creates a lot of worry and strain on both parties.

So, when you're in with a one night stand, and you're wondering about all the people that person's been with, the fact that you don't know what their mental state is like, the risks of pregnancy and disease, the fact that you're not sure what their attitude to safe sex is, and the simple fact that you're not having intercourse but rather are basically masturbating with another person's body - do you reckon it's worth it?

actually the chances are not zero......with the pregnancy or disease thing the condom can break and they can still get pregnant or get a disease...and condoms are not 100% effective against diseases either...nothing is. so a one night stand is definetely dangerous....

I think it can happen often. But not only that, what about the person who is involved in this "one night stand" with you? You also have to worry that she might want to have a relationship with you.

Having sex once with a lady and having it a number times can both have the same effect. Sex is sex it does not matter how many times you do it . Once a lady has slept with a man she could get pregnant immediately or even infected. She may not need to have sex with her partner more than once
