I am truly lost. I lost my job because my employer found out I was questioning things he was doing illegally. He cited rule violation and have been fighting with unemployment for the last six weeks. I filed an appeal a month ago. I have no income. I am educated, have great job skills but this employer is blackballing me, my supervisor told me so. I found a job, but no money to buy gas to get back and forth. Heck, I have 21cents to my name. I've gone everywhere, and don't know what to do? I am motivated, educated and love to work.

try this it sounds crazy but tough times call for extream measures.

You say you motivated.

First build a great resume and let the new employeers now that you would perfer them not contact your past employeer or you could also put down the number of a friend and say that was your last employeer they could give you an excellent refrence. Next you could sell some stuff at a pawn shop to get the money you need for 2 weeks for gas to get to your new job. then the second you get your new check just pay off the pawn shop and be done with that mess. After a month at your new job you then can go after your old nasty boss that was blackballing you and get your money you are owed

Are you saying you're unable to get unemployment?

Sounds like you need to visit an attourney - check here for free legal advise: http://www.lawguru.com/index.php

Welfare and the Women's Infants and Children (WIC) programs are meant for people like you who are trying to get back to work but can't due to extenuating circumstances. Get public support just until you get enough money to get to and from a job.

Otherwise get a small loan from a family member or friend to get you to work and back until your first paycheck comes in.

Good luck to you.

Have you tried temporary agencies, they usually can find you permanent work, in a matter of days, especially if you have experience, you have to try lot's of them. Heck and if you can, find something valuable in your home and sell it on Ebay.
