No, SATAN is no brother to anyone.
Lucifer, before he fell from God's grace, was a beloved Son of the Morning. He, as was all of us, was a spirit child of our Heavenly FAther. The only difference between Jesus and the rest of us is that Jesus was the first of the spirits, and He was the only BEGOTTEN Son of Heavenly FAther in the flesh.
Even tho Jesus was always intended to be our Saviour/Messiah, Lucifer wanted to do it, because HE wanted to save EVERYONE, give no one free agency to choose. And then HE wanted the glory, instead f giving it to teh FAther. When he was turned down, he rebelled and fell and took 1/3 of the spirits with him, and he became Satan and lost all his good graces with Heavenly Father.
So, as Satan, he is no one's brother, except maybe the evil spirits he took with him. Certainly not with Jesus.
Also, we do not believe that blacks were Satan's helpers, or anything like that. We believe, and always have, that blacks would have the same opportunity for exaltation that everyone else does. It's true that SOME Mormons theorize that blacks might have been LESS VALIANT in the war in Heaven, but not Satan's helpers! NONE of SAtan's spirits will EVER get to have mortal bodies, that's why they try to take over ours.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Would you accept this possibility if it was found in the Bible?
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Yes, jesus and christ are brothers, you are also a brother or sister of satan.
We all started in heaven and satan took 1/3 or 2/3 (i forgot) with him down away from god and was forever damned...
It's not really a huge deal....

I agree also with mormon_4_Jesus answer. Also the other person who said Jesus and Lucifer are as much brothers as you and I are siblings. We believe we are all spirit sons and daughters of God, our Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is His firstborn in the spirit and only Begotten in the flesh.
So, no, SATAN and Jesus are not brothers. "Lucifer" before he became Satan was a spirit child of God just as the rest of us.

Yes, it's true.
The myth goes something like this:
We were all "spirit" brothers and sisters living in heaven before god made this world for us to live on. As god was contemplating making the world, he asked the "leaders" of the spirit children, jesus and lucifer, how things should be run down here. Lucifer said god should force everyone to do good, not let them have free will, and that way everybody would return. Jesus said god should give everyone free will, and only those who chose the right path would make it back to heaven. When god chose jesus' plan, lucifer got mad, and led a "rebellion" in heaven -- god put down the rebellion, and cast lucifer and those who followed him down to the earth still as spirits, never to get physical bodies.
The mormon myth says we were all spirit brothers and sisters (spirit children of god and his multiple wives), including jesus and lucifer. Jesus, then, is just another of god's spirit children, and our brother. He just happened to be the "best" of the spirit children.
Of course, it's all a bunch of myth for which there is no evidence of any kind... but that's the story they're sticking to :)

Yes they do. They think that Jesus and satan brought their offerings before GOD and when GOD chose Jesus' gift over satan's, satan got mad and it touched off the war in Heaven that resulted in satan being kicked out of there along with one third of his "helpers". (They also believe that satan's "helpers" became black ppl when they got to earth and now, no matter how hard a black person might try, they cannot get to Heaven.) I bet your friend won't be too quick to answer that either. Since the civil rights uprisings in the '60's the Mormon Church has started to allow black men to preach but I am afraid it is for the same reason they stopped allowing multiple wives....not popular with the general public.

It's pretty much a red herring thing about us.
We believe EVERYBODY is spiritually the sons and daughters of God, so EVERYBODY is brother and sister in that non physical premortal existence sense - so within the logic of that belief - sure, that would make them brothers just about as much as you and I are brother and sister (which obviously isn't very much).
