First of all, color first... then perm. Wait 2 weeks at least in between chemical services. Do lots of protein treatments or reconstructor treatments in between to treat any damages to hair.

coloring your hair gives volume because coloring actually damages your hair to a minor degree.

if you want more volume.. get the hair curled with rollers along with the coloring. a heating curler would damage your hair further and isnt advisable after coloring your hair.

ask the hairstylist who works on your hair (if they're a professional) when the perm can be done.
the instructions on the hair-coloring box may also tell you when you can get something else done to your hair.
