If you know your dog has parvo then you must of taken him to the vet? If you haven't then you need to. Parvo doesn't clear up on it's own and your dog will die if not treated. If you did take your dog to the vet then thats good. I would call the vet and ask their advise, maybe the treatment is not working or maybe he needs another medication.

First off...how do you know he has parvo? Has he tested positive? Why is he not at the vet? Did you opt to treat him at home? Is he recovering from parvo after being treated at the vets? Are you keeping him hydrated? Most dogs die from dehydration and organ failure...not the virus itself, but the symptoms from infection. If you have not taken your dog to the vet, please do asap. Usually IV fluids or sub Q. fluids are required, since alot of puppies cannot keep their fluids down due to vomiting along witht he diarrhea. Canned food for sensitive stomachs is usually the best food at this time, if the puppy can keep solids down. Canned food has some fluid in it, compared to dry which has none. I could answer a little better if I knew more....

If you don't take him to the vet--he will die! I had one with parvo and the first thing the vet did was hook him up on intervanious meds an to rehydrate him--he lived!

Parvo is a very serious illness. Your dog should be hospitalized.
