No, it is not possible. The Bible clearly says that God created the Heavens and the earth, including all it contains. There is not truth to evolution, and should not in any way be confused (or mixed with) creation.

Adapting is different then evolution. An animal learning how to survive is not evolution and there has never been a mutation in a species that was beneficial. Creation and Evolution are on two opposite ends of the spectrum. One says God created everything, man, animals, plants, planets. The other says that it all happened by accident from a soup made of rocks. If you believe the Bible, the earth is around 6,000yrs old. Evolution says it is billions. The two are contradicting. You either believe what the Bible says or you don't. To believe in a mixture of the two is to compromise the Bible. To me it would be no different then saying that murder is bad, but killing an unborn child is ok. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

Yes and no. I have no problem with the concept that God created prototype species...ie the original pig, dog, bear and that each of these evolved into a myriad of varieties...but never losing their original essence.
That is a far cry from saying that somewhere back in the long ago, a single shrew-like creature eventually evolved into all these disparate forms.

A god who created the mechanisms of evolution is certainly possible and was what Darwin and many others since then have believed. After all, what would show god's power more, to create a watch or to take a bunch of watch parts and throw them in such a way that they all bounced into place?
Your statement is the basis for liberal christianity's understanding of evolution. Unfortunately, too many christians either think that the bible is literally true or don't want to think that they are descended from ape like proto-humans.

Yes I believe that was God's reasoning all along. Everything evolves it is the natural progression of things. Gods purpose from the beginning as you read the Scriptures you realise that aas time passes man and the natural world grows and changes. The only thing that does not change according to the word of God, is God himself. His word says I am the Lord your God I change not, I am the same yesterdat, today and forever.

They already co-exist with me because I find both to be true. True believers know that a relationship with God is personal and cannot be put underneathe a microscope for scientific observation. The only thing science can observe is people like us you have experienced the crossing over of the supernatural. Soon they will believe also, but still might not be able to scientifically quantify.

I'm with MZJakes. I believe in micro-evolution, or the ability of the myriads of species God created to flex in regard to their environments and other stimuli. Such flexability would definately fit in with the concept of a "good design".

I am a firm believer in evolution and an atheist and I don't see why people who believe in creationism have such a problem with evolution. I think that evolution has a place in school and creationism definitely does not (it isn't backed up by a shred of scientific evidence), but I don't think the idea of evolution completely invalidates any religious argument.
I think that people who have a problem with evolution are just looking for a fight, when they should be looking for evidence that supports their views, keeping in mind that it may not necessarily be in conflict with the theory of evolution.

>What’s incorrect with believing in introduction And Evolution? You mean, different than that the former of the two has truly no info to assist it and a multitude of info against it? >The Bible makes use of metaphor, parable, and symbolism to describe divine certainty (this is a secret). Then the question will become, WHY did it use metaphor, parable and symbolism? does no longer it have been lots less demanding, and much less difficult and deceptive, if God had merely suggested the excellent certainty in the Bible without disguising it in any way? there is not any sturdy explanation why the 1st financial disaster of Geneis might desire to no longer initiate '13 billion, seven-hundred and 80-seven million, fifteen thousand 8 hundred and ninety-six years in the past, God created the Universe out of a tiny factor with the help of increasing area and dividing the 4 elementary forces out of the primordial quantum vacuum'. Why did God no longer write precisely that? even if it is so significant that we have got faith in him, why does he look attempting so puzzling to disguise himself from us? It merely would not compute. A deistic god is extensively greater sensible, and the main sensible point of view in any respect is that no gods exist in the 1st place. >thinking Genesis replace into written approximately 5000 years in the past, doesn’t it make sense it does no longer clarify evolution if that replace into the case? Excuse me. If the deity you're speaking approximately replace into effectual adequate to create the excellent Universe out of nowhere, truthfully he does no longer enable himself be dissuaded with the help of the medical lack of understanding of primitive civilizations? The Bible is meant to be a e book of revelation and non secular certainty, yet if what you're asserting is the case, then curiously God has desperate that coddling to early civilizations' loss of medical be attentive to-how is greater significant than pointing out the rather info. Like I say, it merely would not upload up; no genuine deity might do something like that. >Is the Bible a technology e book, a historic previous e book, or a non secular e book approximately God’s courting to people? If it rather does characterize divine revelation from an omnisceint deity, there is not any sturdy explanation why this is going to no longer be all 3, and there is maximum truthfully no sturdy explanation why this is going to get maximum of the 1st 2 downright incorrect. Writing blatant medical and historic falsehoods right into a e book isn't a sturdy thank you to get people to take heed to its non secular message, and a supremely clever deity might comprehend that.

One small problem, you invalidate Scripture when you believe evolutionary theory. If God said we were created in the garden of Eden and we believe otherwise, that means that we dont believe the Bible and as a result do not believe God.
There is no good reason for believers to accept atheistic philosophy and the narrative of their apelike creation other than to appease them and become more like them.
