My 7 month old pup who is very restistant to housetraining will not eat unless i am standing right in back of her forcing her to eat!! If she had it her way she would never eat!! She doesnt like any of the treats we buy for her either!! I thought dogs love treats, my dog wont touch one!! Then if she is eating and i decide to walk away, she will walk away and go off into another part of the house. I try putting her outside to see if she has to go, but she doesnt!!! Ever since we got her we had to pracitcally force or bribe her to eat! Not only that, but when i was patiently standing behind her one day while she was eating, she backed up about 5 inches and squatted and peed all over the floor!! I was shocked. Well, not really because she never tells me when she has to go anyway! I am at my witts end!! What is wrong with her?

You may just have a finicky, difficult to train pup or there may be something wrong medically. I'd definitely take her to the vet to rule out any health problems. Your vet might have some suggestions as far as food as well.

my yorky use to do the same thing (not eating) i took him to the vet and she said i have him spoiled! she said he is a dog and a dog will eat when hungry so do not stand by him for him to eat..... after your puppy gets the point that you are not going to baby her, she will eat on her own. try it for a day or two just keep the food down on a certain spot for her, and it cannot be near where u want her to use the bathroom.
also try changing her food, the puppy might like wet food instead of dry,,,,
don't let this go on to long, she is still a baby she can get sick, if it gets out of hand by a syringe and force feed.
i hope this helps,
ps- make sure she gets to see a vet as well.

Are you house training her? It sound like she needs crate training, the most effective way to house train. You need a crate big enough for her to be comfortable to move around in, but not big enough to have a "potty corner" in. Put a soft towel or blanket in, a toy or two and some treats and put her in. At first, she only comes out to eat, then take her outside to pee and poop, bring her in for some SUPERVISED play time, then put her back in the crate. Slowly increase her outside time over several weeks, with first take outside time, feeding time, outside time, play time, outside time and crate time. Also, she should be checked by your vet for her eating problems. Some dogs have small appetites, but you want to check to make sure she's OK.

that's because at the same time as she refuses, you do not enable her starve. that's like giving the youngster more beneficial ice cream earlier he eats his vegetables. for sure she received't devour what she is meant to, she would not ought to. %. a foodstuff and feed it. and quit giving her treats like in spite of you consider human foodstuff. As a note, human foodstuff is a lie. foodstuff is foodstuff and dogs may be raised on selfmade and raw diets. that's certainly fit for them at the same time as finished correct.

Does your house smell really perfumy or are there a lot of loud noises? Are there cats? Maybe there is something little bugging her. Or maybe she has a medical problem. you should take her to a vet to get inspected. Did you spay her and it went haywire?
