I've seen this question a couple of times previously and although, I've see it, it's still an excellent question. I

The answer made complete sense to me, so I'm going to copy and paste it. Remember though ... I didn't write this answer so credit goes to a woman named Katter, who said:

" Yes, dogs get headaches.

They will usually rub their heads on the floor, it's fairly uncommon for a dog to have a headache, just look for abnormal behavior, especially when rubbing anywhere on the head but the ears. Call your vet should it occur, your dog might of hit its head and will need to be treated.

They usually sleep it off if it isn't caused by a bump, just as a human would. And in that case, you don't need to do anything."

Aside from what Katter typed in her answer, I found web site that sells aroma-therapy products strictly for dogs, and there is one or two that can be used for canine headaches.

So, I have to say yes, that I think it's very possible. for a dog to get a headache.

Edit to add: I hope that Katter doesn't mind the fact that I "borrowed " her response, especially since I gave her credit for for it. I thought her answer made a lot of sense.

I have never thought about this - but come to think of it, it is an interesting question. I do not know the asnwer so would like to know too. I think if they do get headches there is no way they could tell us as they can not speak.
I know if they get sore ears, they paw at them so maybe they would do something similar if they did have a headache.
