Is trying to meet women at bars a good idea?

I can't do it at work since I work my shift alone.

I don't have any other ideas. There is nothing to do in this town.

Dante...this is ACTUALLY MY JOB. I take guys out and show them how to meet women at bars.

Theres absolutely nothing wrong with meeting women at bars. The problem with the bar its the hardest place to meet women. I would recommend working out at the gym, go tanning (lots of young woman work at the tanning bed), and get a dog (a small female dog perferably). At the gym its a general "feeling" that you cant hit on the opposite sex. If a girl is checking you out..a simple way..is to go up to her, ask her for her cell phone, take your cell phone out, dial your number, and hand her cell phone back and tell her thanks. (this will make any girl blush and smile). Then go to your local running park with your LITTLE GIRL dog...and your dog will tug you to meet all kinds of woman (the weird part is the hottest ones have Bulldogs...and youve got a little girl dog!! Also..very few guys do this so youll talk to ab 10 girls and no other dudes will be there...and it multiplies their attraction for you.

NOW FOR THE BAR:
THIS IS BY FAR THE HARDEST PLACE TO MEET WOMEN!! However, if you have a full GAME. This actually becomes an easy opportunity to get 20-30 numbers by the end of the night...or a female friend to bring home and have "coffee with". My recommendations for the bar are...bring your other female friends (a group of female friends is normally easy to accomplish), always KNOW whats going on AFTER the bar (eg latenights, other bars, etc.) Then talk about it to EVERYONE. Also, become friends with the bar owners and bar tenders.

WHAT I DO:
I have one or two nights a week i go out. Normally, ill go out and get something to eat and have a few drinks (outback). Then, ill hit up the Fox and Hound/Play Pool with a friend(start mingling with everyone) for an hour or two. Around 10:00, i meet up with a group of female friends..have a few drinks at their place..THEN go to the bar. Right when I walk in the bar with 3-4 girls..(EVER NOTICE HOW WHEN YOU ENTER EVERYONE LOOKS AT THE PERSON WALKING IN??).I stop at the entrance and look around the entire bar..then use my finger and point out everyone i know in the bar. Then start mingling...my general mix is giving people cheers, asking to leave my drink on their tables, when girls run into me...give them a light push..and tell them to watch out...RIGHT AS THEY GET ANGRY.....Side Bump Them With Your Butt...They just went from Angry/Laughing in one sec (and females love when you change their emotions)....another tip is when you see a group of dudes with some hot girls...BUY the dude a drink..then start mingling with his girls. Never buy woman drinks...theyll accept your drink and dip.
The last tip...only talk to a woman for 2-4 minutes..Then leave. Also at the end of your conversation...tell them that if they remember your name at the end of the night you'll buy them a drink. At the end of the night...all the drunk horny females you met will come up to you...trying to remember your name..and looking for someone to go home with. Then you have 5-10 females to choose who you want to go home with. Any females you do know....if they come talk to you...pretend like you dont know them. Do I Know You? etc..etc. This will make a chick go crazy.

Run an ad in the paper, church, take up a sport, get out and meat people. One time at a bar I meant a real knock out she turned out to be a he.

Well I am totally cool and nice and from time to time I go get a drink to a bar with my friends, so I figure if I am there other nice people might be also...right? there is everything everywhere you just have to use comon sense!

i don't think it is a good idea...depends on what kind of bar you are going to though...
from my experience though most women that go to bars are just bar flies....
now clubs are different...there are some pretty awesome women at clubs *smiles*
just my humble opinion though

lectures, book clubs, church, even museums. I went to an art museum by myself one Saturday morning, I was not looking for a man, but I was surprised that some men were also there alone.
