CHI ceramic ionic hair dryer is only 1300watts.Is this powerful enough?

as a stylist i prefer higher watts but ive heard such great things about chi is it worth it

a girl at my salon bought the chi blowdryer last year and she dont have it anymore. she said it wasn't powerful and it didnt last long, not even 6 months. so i would say no. i use the elchim 2001 and ive had it for 1 1/2 years and still going. i LOVE that blowdryer its powerful and gets hot, great for blowouts!
