my 22 month old son has reflux and therfore takes gaviscon an rantidine.He loves milk,but i thought his poo colour was due to his medicine.he eats other foods,but his poo is never brown occasion orange if he has had pasta sauce day before,also if he eats weetabix the bits always seem to come out all over his bottom.he has never done brown poo.im not sure what to do as our gp never much help only got his reflux diagnosed buy an on call doctor at a hospital and then again at a private hospital.what to do?

My daughter's poo is quite often yellow and very very very rarely brown. I do think it has a lot to do with what they eat. It could also be just the way they are! I wouldn't think this is a problem. As long as he does not have any problems going and he's regular enough I wouldn't worry. If this really concerns you do ask your Dr at your next apt.

Best of luck and enjoy him to pieces cause they grow up too fast!
