Spaghetti is pretty easy (or whatever pasta you have around). Just follow the instructions on the box to cook it. Use pasta sauce from a jar, but liven it up by adding some of your own ingredients (put the sauce in a pot and heat while adding stuff). Maybe some fresh garlic or basil, maybe dried basil/oregano, maybe some sauteed onions or sauteed mushrooms. When you have the sauce tasting how you like it, put some spaghetti on your plate, then sauce on top, and maybe some grated parmesan or romano on top.

Make a quick salad while the spaghetti is cooking. Lettuce, tomato, red onion, black olives, maybe croutons, and some italian dressing from a bottle.

If you want you can make your own dressing with extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a little sugar, salt and pepper, some herbs. You could also make a tomato sauce for the pasta from scratch if you have time. You could even make the pasta from scratch if you like.

But using store-bought ingredients is a good easy shortcut to get some food in your mouth quick.

A salad with tuna on it is healthy. Try a frozen dinner. A can of soup & grilled cheese sandwich.
