If you don't believe in evolution, you can't trust science at all, because all of the facts you so blatantly ignore were derived by the same method that allowed the internet to be created.

So a fun little experiment...first use scientific knowledge to your advantage. Turn on your TV. There, you used science, as science made that possible.

Next shoot your TV and pray to Christ that the tv automatically turns on.

Who won, Christ or science?

Prayer vs Robitussin. "I pick the cough medicine, as long as it has codeine!!" Ah christians...too funny!!!

I have only two things for you to think about. Know that I am not insulting you when writing this.
So many times I have read on this site that agnostics, atheists, and basically anyone indifferent to Christianity wishes us to quit using blind faith and use some common sense. And from reading your statement I see that even you failed to use common sense in your argument. Think on this.
What makes you think that God always grants what you desire. He is not a genie in a bottle. If you blow out your TV it is not God's responsibility to repair it. You damaged it; You repair it. Have some common sense. You are responsible for your actions and their consequences not God.
Yet, let's have a little fun with your experiment. Let us go back further. Science surely made the TV possible. Yet, could Scientists make TV's on their own? Could they make the screen without the sand it came from. Did Scientist make the sand from which it came? And what of all the metal, wires, plastics, etc, etc. Did Scientists make the basic and fundamental compounds of the earth from which they came? Obviously not. So, if we push your experiment to its very limit, then it seems that God has won before science was even conceived and scientists could produce technology.
May the Lord bless and keep you. May He let the light of His face shine upon you.

God's and your beast of burden

Christ won and you foolishly lost your TV set! The Christ you seem to like to ridicule is the same 'Creator' that made all you mentioned, through HIS laws of physics, . . possible! I don't believe in evolution without God over the course of the eons, guiding and directing it! As far as I understand, there is nothing in the Bible that forbids the necessary time line of millions of years for evolution to occur. The Bible deals with the recreation of the sky and earth in modern times or what scientist call the Tertiary Era and in particular, the Pliocene Period when modern mammals, and plants first came about!

So you compare evolutionary theory to the construction of a TV? So by that reasoning we should be able to duplicate evolution as well as demonstrate how life can be formed from lifelessness? Harldy. Evolution is only proved in the twisted minds of atheists.

God created mankind. Mankind is developing and learning science. Eventually mankind will be destroyed by God and all science as you know it will cease to exist.

Who won?

You forget that GOD made science... ; )
He created man, and gave man the brains and the intelligence to make the technology we have today.
That is logic.
Afterall, as the Bible says and this is SO true--it does not even need to be questioned:
Hebrews 3:4
(For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.)

where did the materials to build a computer come from? Where did the humans who built it come from. And don't tell me monkeys, cause I've seen them and they can't even count! LOL
But seriously folks, here is a parable:
God and a scientist are having an argument. The scientist states "I can make a human being too." God says, "Ok, go ahead." So the scientist says "First I'll need some dirt and..."
But God interrupts him firmly saying "Oh no you don't. Go get your own!"

you laugh but when you get to judgment, God will ask you about this day and what you just wrote. you will have to explain yourself to him, remember that.

oh and with the evolution compared to advancements in technology.. those are two COMPLETELY different topics.

so does this mean that in a few 100 year we will become a different species and grow a third leg to walk on? of course not. its funny because evolution isnt even fully understood by any of the scientist. its just there way of making sense of it all so they come up with their own conclusion.

and as far as humans advancing in technology, whos to say that God didnt design us so that we would do so?

Both! The Bible is literal and figurative in Spiritual Truth, once you see this and grasp it and read the Bible the correct way, then you will see. Follow what Jesus said to his Apostles, NOT the general public, and you'll get it.

God created Evolution AND Creation, and no, they do not contradict each other. Science and God do NOT contradict each other, nor does the Bible.

PS... Yes, Gnostic Christian here. I turned Gnostic through the Bible as well. :)
