No, and the reason is this. I have done it PLENTY of times; the more you do something the less it bothers you. Plus I know that I'm not going to say the EXACT SAME CRAP that she has heard by the last twenty guys that did the same thing. If you're comfortable in yourself, then she will be comfortable around you. If you're nervous or scared, then she will be too, and she won't know WHY but she will be "weirded out" by you.
Best way to overcome your anxiety is to change your mindset on rejection. You don't lose your value by being rejected, it's just another person that you don't click with. Trust me, if you're not saying the SAME crap that she just heard ie "let me buy you a drink" "you're hot" "(generate random pickup line)" then she will accept you much quicker instead of shut you down immediately, and realize she just does that in case you're a loser and walk away with your head down instead of getting flirty or taking the challenge. Besides... just because she looks good doesn't mean she will be YOUR type. She may have the looks of a goddess, but the personality of a donkey. And nobody want's to wake up next to a jacka**.

Hi, yes I am a very shy person to and it is hard to get over something like that but I mean if I really wanna talk to a hottie it like takes me forever but I'm so trying to break this shyness that I have because it really sucks.
I'm not shy with hot guys at work and stuff though people I just treat them with respect and forget all about their looks and just do what I'm doing. It's very hard but ya know if you want something bad enough the shyness will have to break away otherwise the hottie that your checkin will.
I have no choice but to hide this shyness tomorrow a woman that works for me is bringing her son to my home tomorrow and I die for hockey and I just can't be shy Seamus Kotyk, he's injured right now so he is staying with his mom and my son has tutoring tomorrow so Susan is dropping Seamus at the hospital for his MRI then coming and picking my son up and picking her son back up at the hospital and then their coming here and I am so going to be done work by then. I am a big hockey fan so I am not going to be shy tomorrow because it's going to be rock and roll to chill with him for a few.
Well good luck and if you want a hottie you have your eye on just try going up to him and at least saying hi, ya never can tell so check it out.
