I am not quite understanding your question ....
Of course you can cross the border if you are an adult, and have proper documentation (official photo I.D. and proof of citizenship), and a valid reason to cross.

Or are you a minor and asking if you can cross without an adult? You did not specify that ... If you are going to visit someone, or have reservations at a motel to show, and enough money for the time you are in the U.S. and a signed note from your parents expressing their permission, you should be fine, unless you are under 14.

I don't have links, but you can check out the U.S. Customs website.

If you are 18 an American citizen and driving you will be able to cross back and forth with a drivers license, if no license the with photo ID and a birth certificate......if your flying u need a passport and its too late for that, you would never get it in time.

as long as you are 18 or older you may cross. if you arrive by land you do not need a passport.(yet, that changes in jan '08) if you have a CDN birth cert and photo ID you will be fine. if you are under 18 but over 14 you may travel alone, but you need a notorized letter from your legal guardian which shows that they approve of your travel plans. if you are under 14 you cannot travel to the U.S. unnacompanied.

sorry, i have no source. try searching U.S. immigration.

good luck.

try to look for a websight for the us customs
it also depends on where you cross the border
as long as you do not have anything you should'nt and do not act suspitious and have a plan for what you are going to do
