I use oil, vaseline, and lotion. But nothing seems to work for my rough hands. They are constantly dry, and they seem to never get soft. What do you suggest? I need something that can help......and something inexpensive!

I have very dry hands and tried EVERYTHING!!! And I mean EVERYTHING! I had to go to a dermatologist, who prescribed a prescription hand cream. It was the only thing that worked. (sorry wish I had something better to offer!)

There is a lotion that Gold Bond makes. It is for softening dry skin. It works really good on my hands and feet. It is very thick and has Shea butter in it. there is also a hand cream from neutrogena. And if both of those dont work you can try Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion. Its says that you only need to use it every 12 hours but i put it on all throught the day. When you put the vaseline on did you put glove on as well?? If not try that. Get the medical gloves and put those on so it keeps the vaseline on while you sleep.

I know this may sound a little weird.. but put crisco on ur hands at night and cover them with a sock.. sleep with it over night and ur hands will be soft.. if u dont want to do Crisco.. use the vasaline and do the same thing.. it works for ur feet too..

curel ultra healing hand lotion usually does the trick for me...
you should try leaving it on and not washing your hands for a while, if that's what your doing.

if you play something like guitar, violin, fiddle etc, that may be a problem. try not to get it dusty and if you do, wash it.
