I have dark hair and I want to get a more Beyonce color. But people are saying that I need to bleach my hair in order to get the desired color. Please Help
Also, do you know how much it would cost for a professional to do it?

Go to a professional.
If you get your hair highlighted, it will cost around $50-$70. If that's too much, find a beauty school to get it for around $30.
It will cost more to have your whole hair dyed though.

I reasonally got my hair dyed blond at the top with my regular color in the back. M y natural hair color is sandy brown, so I didn't have 2 get it bleached. When u get it down make sure u ge it done by the shop, u have t really keep it up u can't put gel and heat on it alot, because it can break off, don't get the color if your hair is damage cuz it will eat it away. When I got my hair done I payed 60 dollars, she layed and dyed my hair, I'm black so I mainly go to black people, it depends on who u go to the prics may vary

I don't not know if you need to bleach your hair or not. It depends on how dark it is. I would be careful because doing something too drastic without professional help might ruin your hair. I would shop around call local beauty salons. Try independent beauticians their prices are cheaper than than chain ones. the independent beautician I go to charges about $60 for a color job. What I would do is try a light golden brown from Hydrience #36 by Claroil. It will give you a reddish golden brown. If you see that you cannot get your desired color, then I would have it professionally done. Bring a photo of the color you want to the colorist. It will cost you about $30.

well my mom is a professional if your in Chicago..but anyway yes...buy the color you want (Ms. Clairol) I prefer and you will have to buy a lightener which is something like bleach..and the lightener brings the color out..because you cant but a light color on dark hair it wont come out..and remember if you have any other chemicals in your hair (perms) be extremely careful wait at least 2 weeks ..Good luck

People are right. Those who have dark hair will never obtain a blond shade with just hair coloring. You must first pre-lighten the hair then apply the desired color.

If u have dark hair you will have to strip your hair before you can go to the beyonce color. (striping is harsh on hair) not sure how much a salon would cost $50-100 ??

I would consult a professional, at least for the first time you do it. Typially, if you are going to lighten your hair, bleach will do it. Hair dying (all over, not highlights) at a salon costs about $40-$50.

if you have never dyed your hair depends on where you live. Los vagas a color would probably run 200.00 here in maine it is 45.00 And I would go that route if you have not dyed it yourself. If this is a first time. let them do it right the first time then you can do it yourself next time. If you feell you need to do it yourself and you think you need to bleach it first which I don't go to www.clarol.com and ask an expert.

A hair dye usually bleaches your hair and dyes it at the same time. Probably $40?
