Jesus is not God. He is the son of God. He was praying to His Father.

God is one, never that God is three.
Deut 6:4 Hear O Israel, the LORD your God, the LORD is one.
It's really good to search this out & do a study on it. Also ask the Lord to reveal His truth to you. He will do so. When you seek, you will find.

himself..or to the rest of himself..
Isaiah said the the messiah would be the right hand of God...
Jesus is God but nobody has ever beheld God in His FULL glory.. He limited His exposure so that we would not perish....

Isaiah caught a partial glimpse of God's glory in the temple and said..
.Isa 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
that nobody had ever witnessed God in ALL His glory is also what Paul meant in this verse...
1Jo 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

This is also why God appeared as a burning bush to Moses..Moses would not have been able to bare the sight of God in all His glory..the same reason why in the wilderness for 40 years that god hid his appearance in a cloud..so the people wouldn't die.

Think of the Holy Trinity this way :
Water can exist in three forms
1. liquid (water)
2. gas (steam)
3. solid (ice) ...........but it is still one (H2O)

God exists in three forms:
1. God (Father)
2. Jesus (the son)
3. Holy Spirit (aka Holy Ghost)
It's kind of hard to grasp, but after you study God's Word it becomes more evident.
