i have two dogs they both eat the same food he is OK
she as loose bowel from time to time it is thick and as if she has emptied her stomach in one go

Take her to see a vet. Also be sure to check into her food to be sure it is not on the recall list for pet foods. The recall was not just for cat food, but also for dog food. You can find the list by doing a search online. There were alot of major brands listed.

Sick how, is she vomitting, lethargic, having loose bowels? If you're worried about her consult a vet. If she's sociable she could have a bug...dogs can get flu and stuff like that as well, but really there's not much to answer on... what kind of sick?

Check her food against the stuff that's been recalled and take her to the vet.

That happened to me last week until I found the "secret stash" of half-eaten paper towels. I thought the barf was very dry.
