How do you know when you found that someone you want to spend the rest of your life with? What are some of the signs that will help you to know?

I knew my partner for 6 years before I suddenly saw him a totally different way.
We were best friends first, which is why I think we have such a strong relationship now.
I can see a future with him, I'm willing to put in as much effort as it takes to makes things work if things sometimes get tough, I am totally content and happy with the idea of being with him and him alone for the rest of my life.
Thats how I know.

It is different for various types of people for we all do not want the same thing in an individual. Part of it is gut and instincts, another part may be based on experience from knowing what you do not want. I think that when you first meet someone you will know within maybe a half hour as to whether or not you want to see this person again. Rely upon your wisdom, gut, heart and hopefully you have learned to listen to your instincts.

i don't think you are ever absolutely sure that you want to spend the rest of you life with them. but if you get that feeling around them, they could be the one, if they make you laugh cry and make you happy they could also be the one.if y'all are able to solve your conflicts that's a really big plus and each one is willing to do something for the other without expecting anything in return. if you have unconditional love for them and they have it for you they probably are the one.if you think so just remember that spending your whole life with someone is mainly about perseverance through the mad days the Happy days the sad days and always sticking by each other .

When you really dig someone, you'll know it. Nobody can tell you what it will feel like for you...just relax and go with the flow. It'll happen for ya at some point.

you know when u found that special someone just by the way she makes you feel when to talk to her. when u can tell her anything and she only gives you advice to better yourself even if it doesnt include her anymore.

I have recently came across that cross road in my life. In my case, it is a feeling that you cant ever say you have ever felt in your life. It just feels good is all you know. There is no explanation for it and you don't care for one either.
