I looked up on calorieking.com that a raw chicken breast (meat only) and @ 4oz. is 125 calories, and a 4 oz. (meat only) roasted chicken breast is 180 calories. Is this right, does a chicken breast gain calories (after adding no extra ingredients)? And if so, how come?

The calories increase if you add seasonings that have calories in them like butter. If not then it's the exact same as when it was raw. Chicken breasts are great for weight control.

Maybe they included the skin in the roasted chicken. I've never heard a calorie counter giving calories for raw meat. Let's split the difference and figure 4oz of cooked chicken breast, no skin, has 150 calories.

It doesn't gain calories, however, most people include spices, butter or oil when baking so that is probably the difference.
