I'm a sophomore in High School, and recently some annoying punk who never does his own work kept bugging me to do his 100 point project, as well as my own, which i hadnt yet finished. So, i changed a few things around, but all in all, the 2 projects looked VERY similar, I turned it in, and got caught, now my teacher is sayin i might get a 0 on it, but she has 2 talk bout it 2 administrator, or someone like that.The only reason I did this was 2 prevent a fight, bec/ i have a clean record, and wasnt about to have a HS fight on there, and if i had told someone, this punk would still have foughtme.I have proof i did ALL the work, its still on my computer n i cud and will print it out as proof i did it. I'm really stressed out about this, and dont know how to keep my grade to what it originally should have been, if the admin. decids to gimme a 0. Also, day b4 i did the work, this punk kept shoving me back away from the dor of clas we hav 2 gether(not same as class w/ project),watshud ido?

BTW, our school has this rule, that says it doesn't matter who starts a fight, if anyone was involved, they get, i believe, suspended between 2-5 days , once again something I DIDNT WANT TO HAPPEN, not to mention that the system is screwed, I say only the person who didn't do his or her own work should get punished by either getting a 0, or suspended, specially since I didn't willfully cheat (It was against my will).

I guess i was hoping that she would find out, because then HE wouldn't get what he didn't deserve(my grade), but THAT backfired bec/ apparently helping others, unwillingly, mind you, is cheating-HA! Once again, the work is all mine, i did everything and then some, and if I end up with a 0 on this, Im gonna be fu*king pissed, and my grade will drop from a 90.25 to a 72.2, and its the last few days of this quarter.

What you SHOULD have done is reported the threat and the bullying, instead of giving in to it. You may have thought your only choices were to cheat or get beaten up, but really your choices included reporting the incident. I know, I know, snitching ain't cool, you'd rather get beat up. But it was the only option that wouldn't result in a mark on your permanent record, so if a clean record is so important to you, you should have considered it. Also, the fight on your record wouldn't have been such a big deal if it is was obvious that HE started it, and you just attempted to defend yourself.
Talk to the teacher, and the administrator. Explain that you are sorry for helping the boy to cheat; reassure them that it is your original work, but that you copied it for him under threat of physical violence. Detail for them how he harasses you in the back of the other class, and threatened to beat you up. Let them know that your grade is important to you, and offer to re-do the assignment (on a new topic, experiment, book, whatever) to earn a new grade, or give a presentation on the old topic to show that you did the work yourself and are deeply familiar with the subject.
The teacher and administrator probably know the boy is a punk, but you broke rules too, and they need to know the whole story before they can reach a fair solution.

I don't believe you should allow some scumbag to walk all over you. Inform your parents and inform the school of the threat this punk made toward you. Don't put up with it. Inform them YOU did the work to avoid getting pummled. by him or to avoid the fight.
If he makes threat somethings can happen. he can be put in detention or expelled.

It is apparent you were under duress and this punk had his bluff in on you. I would tell the teacher and administrator the truth. Both of you 'cheated' but his reasons are not valid, in my opinion.

next time that happens say u will do it, dont, tell the teacher about it and ask him/her 2 watch you so she can catch the @$$#013 red handed by trying to pick a fight with you. take martial arts
