Who do so many people who are adamantly atheist read and post Q&A in a forum about religion and spirituality? I respect other points of view, and understand the ones who are legitimately curious about faiths and other beliefs.... but that's not everyone. Some go to every single question, and say "because obviously God is not real..." or "because religion is for idiots" or "there is no evidence that God exists?" If you really believe it, why keep saying it over and over, as a generic answer to every question?

I am looking for real reasons, not being rude.

I mean, I don't believe in the Easter Bunny, but I don't constantly post on Easter Bunny message boards.

I think deep down in their heart, they know that God exists, but it's their rebellion against God that is manifested by what they say.

God is acknowledged just by the fact that they speak about Him whether it's good or bad.

Some people that post are flaunting their perceived intelligence. By boldly posting "God is not real" they are showing that they think they are smarter than others. These people do not believe in God in any form or fashion.

Others are posting it to get a reaction out of readers. They are the trolls of the YA forum posting to get others mad. They do not care if there is a God or not (they may in fact believe there is a God), but only care if it provokes a reaction.
