I think red dragons gives the impression of a fiery/fierce type of dragon. Green dragons give the impression of fairy tyle like and soft dragons. Blue dragons have a mystifying/fanatsy way to them.
Maybe you should go blue.....

Why not have the both colours instead my husband has a dragon on his leg and has the red and green in it looks better i have seen dragons done with green and red on there own and ther not very nice it makes them look every plain.

I have a oriental dragon it is red with green belly scales. Dragons are many diffrent colors go grab a dungons and dragons monster manual and look for dragons it shows diffrent dragons. Also it depends on the dragon tat you want is it a western dragon or a oriental. Oriental are snake like and western are big and look like the dragon off dragonheart.
Most oriental dragons are red and yellow.

I would go all red. it would be easier to pick with an actual picture of the tattoo but eh. Personally I don't like green much but thats my opinion, I think it looks sorta cheesy

hi my bro, has a dragon and it is red he said red was his way of showing his strength so i suppose it depends on you but i think green is cool.take time to consider you will have it for life. ask the tattooist to stencil two dragons on one with red pen the other with green then take a good long look. good luck deciding.
