If you have pasta and sauce, there you go. A salad and garlic bread goes well with that. A pizza would work too.

A whole roast chicken, mashed potatoes and fresh green beans would be good. Wash and dry the chicken inside and out, sprinkle with Lawry's seasoned salt and dried rosemary, bake in the oven at 350 for 60-90 minutes. Snap the ends off the beans and rinse, then micro on high with a little water in a covered dish for 5-10 min. depending on how soft you want them. Drain and add a little butter. The mashed potatoes you can make out of a box, Betty Crocker's are pretty good.

Taco rice is one of our favorites. Brown and drain 1 lb. ground beef and flavor with 1 pkg. taco seasoning per pkg. directions. Serve over hot cooked white rice (Minute Rice is OK for this) and top with chopped fresh tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream. Very quick and very good.

Good luck!

A Ham and Egg Pie.

Line the base of a rectangular greased baking dish with puff pastry.

Add diced ham, diced onion, and break in eggs. (make shallow hollows for the yolks). Add some slices of tomato, seeds removed. Season with Salt and pepper and cover with another piece of pastry. Use the point of a knife to make some steam vents.
Glaze with some milk and bake in a 180% oven for about 35-40 minutes
Serve with Potatoes and Veges

This can be made in advance cut into 3" squares, and eaten cold.

Sausage meat could be a substitute.

Will let you judge the quantities.

You could also make the same thing in a muffin pan or in individual pie dishes
