My girlfriend's dog (its a Maltise) bit down on my left testical this afternoon and it's starting to swell up and turn purple-ish. I'm WAY to embarrassed to go see a doctor about something like THAT. What should I do?

1st thing..keep your balls out of the dogs mouth
2nd..if this is a legit question, clean it well, ice em down, and hope you get to keep it

if it didnt break the skin then ice it. it would be the same as getting kicked there.if it broke the skin you may need to swallow your pride and go find out from a professional. from now on just watch out for nippers. they are just playing usually and they dont know any better so be careful from now on and the next time try petting and playing with the pup it will calm down around you. good luck and you will soon laugh it off when you are over this'

Go to the doctor anyway. He's seen it all before. Don't think yours are anything special. Take it from me. I'm a nurse and have seen a thousand scrotums and so have doctors and it doesn't phase me in the least. They all look alike to us. It's like looking at your hand or your arm really. Get to the doc before they become infected and you have to go to the hospital and have even more people look at them.

use ice that will help stop the swelling and take some tylenol or something for the pain you also might want to use some disinfectant so it doesnt get infected..
