I posted a question earlier about this guy I'm interested in and I didn't think he was interested in me. But pretty much everyone said they thought he had a thing for me but was too shy to ask me out.
Everyone suggested I make the first move, or ask him.
So I'm wondering if I can get suggestions as to how to become un-shy myself.
I mean I don't see the guy every day, just when I go out to hockey with my brother (he's on my brothers team). How do i "make a move" on a guy who will barely talk, mumbles and wont make eye contact?
I'm going on a hockey tourny the day after my birthday (april 13th) and we're all staying in a hotel. Should I wait till then to try and talk to him?

When you go to the next game,,,after the game is over go up to him and tell him he did a good job. Hand him a piece of paper with your number on it and tell him to feel free to give you a call if he ever wants to talk. Then walk away. He will call you in time if hes really interested in you. You just gotta do it. Good luck i want to know how it turns out. :)

Yes that will be a great time to talk to him. But my greatest suggestion is to try talking to him at your brothers hockey game. If he passes by you, say hello, and say a comment like, " Oh wow you did good out there". I mean that was just an example to get his attention. Just mention something that got something to do with a certain topic you know hes interested in , ( maybe hockey). If he doesn't say much or looks at you too much then don't try to hard, just act normal.
Being unshy means having good confidence of yourself, facing your fears, believing yourself, and having a good self-esteem.
If he doesn't know your name, or who you are, introduce yourself in a polite way, and maybe talk about your birthday plans for April 13th. Well, I'm not really sure. but just try to be yourself, and graceful, and try to get his attention. The worse thing to do is to say his name, but have nothing to talk about. So keep that in mind. It's not really a matter of becoming unshy. That would require change, and change is too gradual to help you out in time. Something that really worked for me was to simply tell myself; and this might seem cliche, "you only live once...and every action, good or bad, is eventually forgotten". There is nothing that could come out of you're asking him out, that is going to last forever, except maybe for your love of eachother, if it comes to that. It's better to have tried and lost to have never tried at all...Worst case senario....you find out he's not interested...no biggie...you'll live that one down in no time at all.
Plus, if you look anything like your avatar, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The only thing I could see stopping anyone from being interested is (well, hate saying it bc of all the sensitive ppl and all) but, "gayness".

My girlfriend gave me a card. And it said the early bird gets the worm so get in the air and fly to me.Wow that worked.

Why don't you get your brother to set
you up on a date with him or at least
introduce you...Get brother to get
you together for lunch or coffee or something...
