That all people will go to heaven---and you say you also believe that Jesus is the Lord of all ( if this is you) and if you believe this, then how can you explain His death and resurrection on the cross? I mean why would He of had to die and then be raised from the dead, if all were going to heaven?
His death would of been in vain. He did this to save us right? So do you understand what being "saved" is? Being saved from something right? We are saved from sin and hell, being separated from Him eternally---what do you think we are being saved from? This has always boggled my mind as to why some believe everyone goes to heaven, and yet they still proclaim Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Just curious~

Amen Cid-- exactly my point. That is why I wonder why some who profess to be christians, yet say everyone will be saved- where they get this from--it saddens me to see others being led astray from the gospel.

Do you guys realize I DO believe Jesus is the only way to heaven? read my question CAREFULLY.
I am asking those who DO NOT believe Jesus is the only way, yet they say they are christian, why they say this....why do they think everyone is going to heaven, when they are not. That is what I am asking. I KNOW it is only through salvation in Christ Jesus. : )

You ask a great question and you will get those like Jedi here who is completely confused.
There is far more evidence that Jesus existed then "Jedi" himself.
FACT - Jesus IS the Son of God, Jesus left His Royalty in heaven, became a man through a virgin, died on the cross for all men that ALL who call on the Name of Jesus shall be saved. He rose again and is at the right hand of the Father.
THAT IS FACT!!!
And yes...your question does make sense...I realize you are a believer. Those who responded like that did misread.

No. not all people are going to heaven. A Christian who dies will meet God and live with him forever. A person who is not a Christian will be condemned to eternal punishment. And yes Jesus is Lord... God sent his son (Jesus) to die for us so our sins could be forgiven. And to be saved you have to be baptized( born again) You are saved from eternal punishment (hell).

First of all where did you get the notion everyone is going to heaven? This is incorrect.
Sin entered Mans life when Adam & Eve disobeyed GOD and it went down hill from there.
God sent Jesus to die on the cross to take away the sin of the world and so that people can be saved and go to heaven. I hope that clears things up for you

Perhaps they realize that Jesus loves all, not just those who profess a certain belief. They maybe realize that Jesus died to save everyone, not just a chosen few. If Jesus died for man's sins, what makes people think it was only for a few sinners and not all?

All people don't go to heaven. He was crucified on the cross to pay for our sins. If you accept him as your savior, you are dying to yourself, and you become a new person in Christ,,his Holy spirit lives inside you. Thats why you get baptized,,when you go under the water you die, when you come out you are born again.

Everyone is responsible for their own sin. Jesus pbuh. was a prophet, he did not die for anyone's sins. In reality he did not really die. God lifted his soul to the heavens, as his body was being crucified (or soemthing like that, unfortunately I dont know all the facts).

to be really be saved is also to save the king as well, not just be arrogant and just thank God for the blood. It means spread the Gospel, and walk in spirit and truth. Seek his Face.

Before Jesus, Jews had to sacrifice animals and the blood is what God used to overlook their short comings. However, Jesus was offered as the eternal sacrifice. By that sacrifice of blood for all eternity God's wrath would be sheilded from those who are "under the blood" per se of that offering. Not everyone goes to heaven just those outside of the wrath of God.

I've never heard any Christian say that nor do I know of any denomination that teaches that. Do you know what Christian religion teaches that? It certainly is not Biblical that everyone is going to heaven. Hell is as real as Heaven.
