No, don't do it, keep the tension and he is mad, he will cool off, and comeback to u, because u have kept the tension on. If u do it, then maybe he will loose interest, which is a risk not worth taking.

just give him time. whatever hes mad about he will get over it. just let him cool off for awhile. if you love him and he loves you, you will get over this road block that's in your way. again just give him time to cool and things will be ok. :)
