Don't feel bad. It's not bad to be shy. If you didn't act shy just to get those jerks to like you, you wouldn't be happy because you wouldn't be yourself. There probably is a guy out there that likes you, he is just shy like you! I hope y'all find each other.

You sound so much like me its not funny. At home Im the loudest person but put in a place like at school and Im so quiet its unbelieveable. There is nothing wrong with being like this. Just give the bf a bit of time. I didnt have for about 4 years and since then I have been in a realtionship 4 7 an a half months. When that ended I thought there was something seriously wrong with me. I was always thinking Am I too quiet? Too loud? didnt talk enough? But now Im with a guy who I have been with 4 nearly 7 months and Never been happier. He knows I can b quiet but hes also seen me being loud too. Hope all this helps u in someway. Just stay positive and it will all work out 4 the best, Goodluck!!!!

Hi!
No, it's not terrible to be shy. It sounds like you do just fine at home..you're just not comfortable around boys.
Do you have a good "guy friend?" Maybe you need one to sort of break the ice so to speak. How about a brother you can discuss your shyness with? He may be able to give you some pointers about what boys like to talk about, then you can do some homework about boys' favorite subjects, like sports, cars, etc.
There's nothing wrong with you. You just need to "blossom" a bit, and find some common ground with the opposite sex. It's okay..and I'll bet there's a shy guy you know about that's just as shy as you are? Maybe you could start with him. That could be the start of a very good friendship, and progressively give you more confidence to converse with other guys.
Also, you might consider a class in speech and debate, or something else that could help you overcome your shyness.
You can do this...just take a lot of deep breaths and give it a try!
And don't pay any attention to those who make fun of you. You'll "find your voice" one of these days, when someone more understanding finds you.
Have faith...it will happen for you!
Good Luck!

THAT'S your problem right there. You bring up Naruto characters to try to sound cool or different. Really, that's seen as lame, and personally from me (also a Naruto fan) I wouldn't like hanging around a person who compares themselves to a manga character. So yeah. Stop doing that.
Oh, and One Piece>Naruto lol.

You'll grow out of it. A lot of girls don't really grow into a social life 'til college age, but then really blossom. I know I did. Being a loner isn't a bad thing.
